Getting to Know the Gautams

As a general rule of thumb, my family is pretty crazy. And every time I’m headed home, I have massive amounts of trouble controlling my excitement.

It’s not like we go out and party a lot. Or even go to nice restaurants, or shows, or plan outdoor picnics (like these are the most exciting things in the world…). All we do it SIT around at home (maybe make a Target run to pick some some snacks), and laugh.

You can see the hysterics.

Laughing on the Stairs

Laughing on the Floor (while wrapped in blanket)

Laughing in a Pyramid

Whenever I depart from a weekend with the family, I feel like I have a six pack from laughing. I clearly and most certainly don’t, but it feels good to have laughed so hard even your abs are pleased with you (for once – as opposed to eating Cool Ranch Doritos & Jalapeno Kettle Chips at BBH everyday, at which point your entire body is just pissed).

Needless to say I’m so excited to see everyone for the first time in 2012 (I did see my little sis, but it was so fast I don’t really count it). It’s going to be a good one.

So excuse me if I put my “social” life on hold and spend time with the people I love. You know you’d do it too.

Happy Day!

  1. Never realized my tendency to fall onto the floor literally rolling in laughter. Could use a good laugh this weekend, or fifty. Which is why I’ll bring home some song DVDs and teach you everything I know about Ajay Devgan.

P.S. been reading every post. So have my friends :)
